The location was perfect for engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and canoeing, surrounded by the stunning Dumfries and Galloway region. the cozy cottage had everything I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden to relax in. I particularly enjoyed the log burner in the living room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere after a day of exploring the nearby forest walks and charming village. the owners, Beth and Dave, were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the convenient access to free WiFi and a selection of DVDs provided, perfect for relaxing evenings in. the attention to detail, such as the fluffy towels and thoughtful touches like dog biscuits, truly made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend Kelpies Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and nature-friendly holiday in Scotland. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway.
